Mazers
A mazer is an 11th century medieval vessel used for drinking mead. These modern-day ceramic mazers are created on the pottery wheel, with accents from custom sprig molds. Translucent layers of Terra Sigillata, an ancient form of decorating and sealing clay, is brushed on and burnished. Aging the piece is done with layers of glazes and patinas.
Dripping Gold Rain Bowl
Gold Rain glaze trimming creates a dramatic dripping into the celadon bowl. This piece was made with white stoneware, wheel-thrown, altered into shape, and spring mold embellishments added.
Cigar Tray
Design is simple and functional with sculptural elements. The tray has a solid weight, and curved bridges to hold the cigar as it burns. The piece is treated with translucent layers of Terra Sigillata, an ancient form of decorating and sealing clay. Glazes, patina’s, and multiple kiln firings create the aged aesthetic. Details are finished with metallic lusters.

Beaded Pearl Vase
The natural movement of clay in a flared drape design offers the flowers a space to rest organically, creating a harmonious centrepiece. Whimsy and femininity flow in the carved trimmings around the vase. Gems are thoughtfully placed and embellished with precious metal lustres.

Layers of dry brushed matt gold glaze brings out the damask pattern on the platter’s surface. Gold luster jews trim the piece.

Inspired by Greek Corinthian architectural style columns which feature elaborate scroll capitals. Metallic gold rain glaze runs down the curve of the base.

Dating back to the Roman Empire, goblets are an ancient form of stemware. With hammered patterns often treated with patina, inlays of precious stones and adornments of gold the goblet has a tradition of craftsmanship.
Celadon Bowl
The celadon glaze pooling at the bottom of the bowl reminds me of my home by the ocean. High temperature kiln firing melts the metallic bronze glaze causing drips into the bowl.
